I have been having my legs with slightly varicose veins waxed warm by a cosmetician for more than 10 years and have not had any problems yet. I bought a heater recently and my legs became bloodshot after waxing. What did I do wrong?
It is very likely that the spots were not developed because of your varicose veins, but the skin must have pulled on too much during the pulling off and that caused the spots. Please try with a smaller paper strip and stretch the skin well where you pull off the wax.
What is your opinion about wax cartridges that are heated in micro or warm water and “tore off” with paper strips after application? If I have seen well, these are available with several ingredients. I would like to try them at home. My skin can not put up with the razor any more. What is the result of using them on a spotty skin?
The wax cartridge that you asked about is good for legs and arms, but it is not recommended for bikini or underarm. You can apply them on legs with spots, but use the ORIGINAL ALVEOLA ALOE VERA spray on the skin afterwards!
I am a 13-year-old girl and the hair on my leg bothers me very much. According to my mum, I should wait with hair removal, because razor would strengthen my hair and wax could inflame my skin. She recommends me to use depilatory cream or depilator, but only when I am 15-16 years old. She told me to ask a professional which one to use.
There is no difference between depilation with depilatory cream or razor. They both remove hair from the surface of the skin, but with a different method. Depilator and wax have similar results. The difference is that the depilator inflames follicles more often. So I suggest that you should use wax.
I have the following problem: formerly, my leg has been hurt by the depilator, the follicles have also been inflamed. I used only wax these days, although I am not a professional, the situation became even worse. I can not wear a skirt. I have so many inflamed follicles, the hair grows under the skin and is inflamed. What should I do?
Make a peeling twice a week. The wax will decrease the under skin hair-growth on the long run, but combine with a peeling and it will surely improve the situation. Use also an anti-inflammatory, eg. Aloe-Spray, Gelly.( Find more: www.eredeti-aloe-vera.hu )
